SP - I do have one question for you. You're good friends with Witti. Witti and I are friends too. Is it out of character for him to disregard my obvious sincerity and honourable behaviour once I got my brain engaged and working ? I may be seeing shadows once more, but it seems a little strange to me. What motivation would he have to see an innocent friend go down the toilet ? You know him better than I do. What are your thoughts on the matter ? Maybe I'm just too suspicious in the view of others after my false start with Virphen yesterday, but he's not giving me the benefit of the doubt like I'd expect him to.

My defense of you is simple logic. You’d be a fool to try to die if you were mafia.

Yes, Witti and I are buddies (in real life), but we drop that at the door when we enter into a mafia game. It’s the same with you, in the game you are just another player to Witti.

If I were to let my emotions rule my game play, I’d try to deflect any suspicion away from Witti, but this is a game, not real life and therefore I find his behaviour suspect.

I can’t speak for him, but he would look at what you wrote in the same light as I have, you’re too willing to die to prove to us that you’re innocent. That is a DEADLY move for anyone that’s mafia.

He’s a good player and a smart player, his vote against you doesn’t add up unless he’s mafia and wants to see an innocent go down.

I may be reading too much into this, but look at the vote tally when he voted. Had he voted for RappingAgnostic, there would have been a tie vote with each of you at 4 votes. Had that not changed as the game progressed, he would have been forced (as mayor) to break the tie. That could have put him into the position of voting to lynch a non-mafia player (you) if Witti is indeed (as I believe) mafia. While he could talk his way out of it, (possibly) he would have put himself into danger of exposing his mafia connections if later it was shown that RappingAgnostic was, as i believe, mafia.

By voting for you instead, he moved the vote count to 5 vs. 3 which let him off the hook from having to break a tie.

As an aside…

I hope others here will rethink their vote against Durro. I’m almost confident that he is an innocent. We’ve already lost too many as it is. We simply can’t afford to kill our own people.

If we continue to do that, the mafia will win. I know some of you think I’m guilty and that Durro is too, but if you lynch either of us, and when we’re proven to be innocent, then a ‘sorry’ after won’t cut it, you’ll have killed off another innocent. During the night round more innocent will die. At that rate, our team of innocents will be doomed.

And no, I don’t have a crystal ball, but in my heart-of-hearts I trust Durro. He’s too willing to die and that’s not a PLOY that the mafia use.

Even my vote for RappingAgnostic isn’t foolproof. I can only look at suspicious behaviour and hope that I’m making the right decision.

Something else is bugging me.

We originally had 23 players, one (Tigger) was MIA and Ghatanothoa (while dead) was resurrected to replace him.

Why was a replacement player necessary? We had 22 players, at best 11 innocents and 11 mafia. Now that’s highly unlikely, but there were an even number of players and a team or teams of mafia could have been drawn from those ranks with enough innocents left over.

I can only guess that Tigger *may* have had a special role which was passed on to Ghatanoatha.

But !!!! That could have been a special role as an innocent or as a mafia player.

I’m not, nor would I at this point even cast doubts on Ghatanoatha, but I can only assume that he now holds a special role in the game.

What that role is (if he does have a role) will come out as the game progresses.

Well if in fact the mafia team(s) is that small, then there were more than enough innocents to play the game without having someone brought back from the dead. I think, not sure on this, that one game I played some time back, we only had 19 players and that was quite adequate for the game play.

It does make me believe that Ghatanoatha inherited a role.

Hopefully to our advantage, but time will tell.

You haven’t yet posted even one consistent and honest post. You’re using mafia tricks (poorly) to try and shift the blame, to try and lynch an innocent and to try and make others think that you’re just an innocent that’s lost track of the game play and is mired in confusion.

Other may buy into that, sorry mah man, I don’t. If you do succeed in helping to lynch Durro and then when it’s shown that he’s an innocent, you’re going to have to answer for that because the cloud of mafia association will hang over your head.
