I'm just checking in to say Oh Hai!

I'm at work and I've got my googie Maxie (he was my avatar picture here before I changed it yesterday) with me because his sister is in the Animal Hospital being operated on today (she has an abyss on the side of her neck, that got out of control and her whole left side of her face and neck is swollen / full of fluid and her temperature was 40 C this morning!).

I’m flat out at work and am going to power through so I can go home and watch my might Cats give those Carlton Blues a spanking.

As a prospective Mayoral candidate, I will now lead by example and get back to work.
Jimmy Lee Farnsworth: Erwin, admit that you are a sinner.
Fletch: Uh. Well, I've sinned. I didn't take any Polaroids or anything. But, yeah, I've sinned.
Jimmy Lee Farnsworth: The Lord forgives ya!
Fletch: Thank you. Thank you very much. Thank you. Thank you. Amen. What? Other sins? Uh, I parked in a handicap spot on my way up here. Actually, on a handicap person. I told him I'd be back in five minutes, so that's not such a big deal.

I didn't quite understand the correct voting format earlier, so let's make it clear.

I vote Virphen to be lynched.

I also note that Twinkie is continuing to act in concert with Virphen, with them BOTH voting for skinny puppy earlier. Twinkie has probably realised her error, and has now changed it to me, but again, in support of Virphen's attack on me.

For the record, I have no thoughts on Skinny Puppy - I have no idea if he is innocent or not and will not be supporting or attacking him due to lack of evidence and lack of suspicious behaviour. I trust NOBODY in this game from a gaming perspective, but of course, I'm a happy, casual guy and hold no real world grudges or antipathy towards anybody. I like and respect Virphen and so it's with a heavy metaphorical heart that I vote for him. But I won't be losing sleep over it.

And if he's innocent, he can be re-inserted back into the game as a substitute for the player that couldn't play - IF HE'S INNOCENT - as per my suggestion in the peanut gallery thread. It's a win-win situation. If he's innocent, he gets a 2nd chance, if he's guilty as I suspect, then we strike a blow for the good guys !

I act in concert with no one.

Virphen did NOT vote for Skinny Puppy.

You are either confused or trying to mislead everyone.

My vote for you stands.

I have not voted for anyone to be lynched. And I didn't point the finger at Skinny Puppy's very suspicious behaviour until well after I pointed the finger at yours. I went from looking most closely at you to looking at most closely at Skinny Puppy. Whereas Twinkie went the other way.

Once again your "logic" is suspiciously spurious.

[OOC]
I have to say that I will now refuse, no matter what, to rejoin the game in another role should I be lynched. It's not right to make use of a potential OOC feature like that in the game, imo.

My vote is going to stand. If it isnt you it squarely points the finger at durro and the puppy with the second voting block for witti. The puppy always looks guilty. He might have just crapped on the floor somewhere though.
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

Perhaps I'm mistaken in my recollections. I'm human.

Perhaps there's been some post editing.

:dono:

As a sign of good faith, let me step back from accusing Virphen and his (alleged) voting bloc. I'll wait and see what day one brings in terms of voting and lynching.

I unvote Virphen.

We interrupt this thread for an important news update
Highway Purr-trol: Cartwright the kitten's dice with death in turbo police car
April 26, 2010

Image
One lucky little kitten ... Look what the officers found behind their patrol car's bumper.

A police officer's turbo-charged patrol car was literally purring like a kitten after a tiny black cat became trapped in its front bumper.

Now police are anxious to find the lucky little kitten's owner after its dramatic use of one of its nine lives.

The frightened moggy was found lodged in the bumper drain hole of the Ford XR6 Turbo, which had been used in an RBT patrol at Cartwright, in Sydney's south-west on Friday morning.

Police said a police officer almost hit the kitten when it ran in front of his highway patrol car as he drove along Cartwright Avenue about 9.30am.

The officer managed to brake in time and assumed the cat had run away after he couldn't see it near the car.

It wasn't until the officer joined the RBT patrol that he heard something "meowing" from inside the Ford, police said.

Police searched the car and found the kitten sitting in the drain hole in the front bumper.

The car had to be taken to a mechanic to get the kitten out.

The kitten has been nicknamed Cartwright while police search for its owners.

Jimmy Lee Farnsworth: Erwin, admit that you are a sinner.
Fletch: Uh. Well, I've sinned. I didn't take any Polaroids or anything. But, yeah, I've sinned.

Oh dear. I hope it all goes well. Are they just draining it? /derail

Again, today I've decided to just vote for Mayor. I know this doesn't help much with the innocent team in hopefully targeting a baddie. But, I find the first day the trickiest.

I agree that Skinny Puppy always looks pretty guilty! But, I'm not sure if that is enough to go off of just yet.

However, I could change my mind by the end of the round, depends if anything happens.
