I think it's funny how at the beginning of the video the reporter says, "If you want to kick the public out, that's fine, but let us do OUR job." What the fuck? Kick the public out of a public park for no reason?
This fucking cop doesn't even tell them how far back they have to go. Just "turn around and walk back and you'll be fine."
Lafayete park is the place where protests occur continually, and there were permanent protests set up for years and years.

Lt. Dan Choi and five veterans discharged under Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell handcuffed themselves to the White House fence on Tuesday demanding a repeal of the discriminatory military policy.

U.S. Park Service Police used chain cutters to remove the handcuffs and arrested the six in military uniforms, CBS White House correspondent Mark Knoller reported. He posted the photo below on his Twitter page.
Then police closed LaFayette Park, where the anti-DADT protest was held, forcing both media and the general public to leave. A reporter in a YouTube video calls the rare move to restrict media and close the park both “outrageous” and “ridiculous.”
The five veterans joining Choi included Capt. Jim Pietrangelo II, Petty Officer Larry Whitt, Petty Officer Autumn Sandeen, Cadet Mara Boyd, and Airman Victor Price. Both Choi and Pietrangelo were arrested last month after a similar stunt. Both events were coordinated by GetEQUAL, a new LGBT advocacy group.
“We are handcuffing ourselves to the White House gates once again to demand that President Obama show leadership on repealing ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.’ If the President were serious about keeping his promise to repeal this year, he would put the repeal language in his Defense Authorization budget,” said Choi in a statement. “The President gave us an order at the Human Rights Campaign dinner to keep pressure on him and we will continue to return to the White House, in larger numbers, until the President keeps his promise to repeal ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ this year.”
At a GetEQUAL event in California, also on Tuesday, protesters shouted down President Barack Obama as he addressed a crowd at a fundraiser for Sen. Barbara Boxer.

Roughly 45 minutes in, Secret Service agents began cutting off the protesters' handcuffs and placing each member into a police wagon. By 1 o'clock, everyone had been removed from the fence and reporters dispersed.
