I see them now too!
I have never seen a magic eye thingy, btw. I suspect it has to do with my astigmatism but I can't be sure since it seems others that have the same see them fine.

I once saw one inside-out for a few seconds. But other than that, no amount of staring did anything. Incidentally, I also have an astigmatism, though, I don't think I did back when I used to stare at them... though maybe I did. Dunno.
