Happy 'A' Week on Facebook!

This may have been posted elsewhere on another board, but I couldn't find it, so I thought I'd stick it up here in "Current Events".

It's 'A'theist Week on FB, if you don't already know, so if you have a FB account, you can change your profile pic to the atheist symbol (red A on black background) and let all your family and friends know you're good without god.

I gave up changing my icon or status to reflect any beliefs personal or political a while ago. Hope I can still be one of the cool kids

One of my "closet" atheist friends private messaged me to tell me they got the gumption to "come out" and put the scarlet A in their profile picture because they saw me, and many others do it, so I'm glad I did it. After all, it's only for a week. If it helps others feel some comfort and solidarity, especially those still struggling to come out, I figure it's a good thing.
