This conversation died ages ago, both of you aren't ever going to make any headway and the only mediator is science.

Premise 1: all things are composed of matter and or energy
Premise 2: There are things that cannot be physically measured that are more than just concepts or ideas or faith based.

If you agree to either then you are going to be at odds until one of you shows you are right, which is probably impossible.
