"Good" Liscensed Games
Games based off of movies, TV shows, etc. have a reputation for being horrible. LJN (prevalent throughout the 90's and I think the 80's) was the worst. I can't think of one good game from them.
But there are some good ones out there. The Little Nemo NES game is one of the best.

Re: "Good" Liscensed Games
I thought King Kong on the original Xbox was an excellent game. The spear mechanic was very well executed, and there is nothing more satisfying than spearing a velociraptor directly between the eyes. I remember The Lion King on the SNES being a great game. The top-down brawler Lord of the Rings games were good. For something more recent, I hear Batman: Arkham Asylum is a very good game.
Other than that, I can't think of much. Some of the old mission impossible games were quite good, and Goldeneye 64 is a classic.

This is a no-brainer but Batman: Arkham Asylum is excellent.
EDIT: Oops, looks like Manny beat me to it.

Re: "Good" Liscensed Games
Although I never played it lots of people go crazy for Goldeneye.
The Starwars games have generally been good for the last ten years or so starting with X-wing and it's sequels, but not the direct movie tie-ins which are usually dull.
I've played quite a few Lego games and while they are aimed at younger gamers they're great fun.

Knights of the Old Republic was an RPG spin off from the Star Wars Universe, by Bioware.
It was fantastic.
The first Rambo computer game.

I never played KoTOR. I should get around to it. I quite like the Rebel Strike series. Battlefront isn't bad either. I also like the first Spiderman game for Playstation. Apparently Spiderman 2: The Movie: The Game is pretty good as well.AshtonBlack wrote:Knights of the Old Republic was an RPG spin off from the Star Wars Universe, by Bioware.

That Tomb Raider game was pretty good

Aladdin on the Genesis was also pretty good, IIRC.Mr Calavera wrote:I thought King Kong on the original Xbox was an excellent game. The Lego Star Wars games seem like they should be awful, but are unreasonably fun, especially for being the unholy spawn of two separate franchises.
Also, what Mission Impossible games? There were Mission Impossible games?

I remember borrowing that from a friend while I was in high school. I finished it 100% good, as I always do with those sorts of gamesAshtonBlack wrote:Knights of the Old Republic was an RPG spin off from the Star Wars Universe, by Bioware.

Star Wars: KotOR 1 & 2 are brilliant games along with the Battlefront games
I found Marvel Ultimate Alliance to be rather fun, but maybe that was just me
A lot of the old Xmen games on SNES and Genesis were pretty good too

Re: "Good" Liscensed Games
I remember having some good fun on Lord of the Rings: Return of the King game. Nothing quite like killing hordes upon hordes of enemies.
Re: "Good" Liscensed Games
I remember playing the SNES versions of Star Wars 1,2,3 and Lion King. They were pretty good.
