I hate most things that you haven't got a clue what is going on in if you miss an episode
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

It should have run for two seasons, max, just as I said at the time.

Re: LOST
Been watching it since day one, download the episodes from the states on a Wednesday so as not to have to wait until Thursday nights to watch it over here. Can be a little confusing at times, but that's all part of the fun.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

Watched the first 2 series on the presumption it was only going to be 3 series long then I heard they were making it into 7 and said "Go ask me bollox".
No way was I watching 4 series of padding.

Same here. I watched one or two episodes from series 3, but it looked increasingly as if they were just making it up as they went along.Animavore wrote:Watched the first 2 series on the presumption it was only going to be 3 series long then I heard they were making it into 7 and said "Go ask me bollox".

Re: LOST
I LOVE it. I didn't start watching it till the second season (got the first on dvd after it was finished). There were some spots in the 4th season that started to suck but they brought it back. I'm a little concerned with them wrapping it all up but I am hanging on

I saw the first couple of episodes at a mate's house but never really got into it. One day I might... ahem... buy season one and see how I go from there.
I can be a late-adopter on these things. I only just got around to watching The Sopranos - fuck me was that a good series!

Trigger Warning!!!1! :
I went back and watched the older ones, and with the exception of a few episodes, the show reminded me too much of a sci-fi version of Survivor.
Just some quick trivial fact here, but I found out 2 years ago that the guy who played Boone is from my area. I thought that was pretty cool.
