...wut?

Post by Lozzer » Sat Feb 27, 2010 11:19 am

The proceeding events have led to the Dawkins' website receiving some of the most publicity it's had for some time. Usually this would result in the relevant articles regarding atheism/Dawkins etc to appear listed on the site under 'News'. But there's no mention of the recent schism anywhere under the featured or latest section. What's up with that? Are the technicians embarrassed or something? It doesn't wear well with the significant minority who are aware of what's happened. Josh wants to protect his reputation, but this selectiveness (or ignoring) of events doesn't make him look too good.

Silly bugger.

Yep. I noticed that too since yesterday.

Didn't want to fan the flames.
It's not the case of us 'fanning the flames' so to speak. But with the journalistic coverage, surely some Nosey Parker will rightly pick up on it? The I.T guys aren't helping themselves.

Given their ineptness to date, is anyone surprised they're trying to pretend nothing is going on?

Also, you would expect a massive influx of traffic. There are only 228 people logged in, and a fair few of those are, like myself, just doing a bit of rubber-necking.

On the subject of ineptness, if you try to post (did so for the hell of it), instead of a polite message explaining or informing the poster that posting is disabled you get a crude 'fatal error' message. Looks nasty and incompetent.
