I much prefer PC versions because of the control systems. Usually much easier to get to grips with. And yes, the little sister thing is weird. It is to your benefit (short term anyway - dunno about later on) to kill them, but despite the fact its just pixels on a screen I don't have the heart to harvest them either. Daft really!tattuchu wrote:I hope Bioshock 2 (PS3) isn't as glitchy as the first one. The other thing that annoyed me is I'd crouch all the time when I didn't want to, since the left stick controlled walking and (if pressed) crouching. This is, when I get attacked, I try to move quickly and always press the stick by mistake. So I'm always down on the floor crouching, and I end up yelling at the TV, "Get up! Get up you stupid fuck!"
At least I know what I'm doing now on my second play-through. I know where to search for goodies, and I know how to use my weapons properly, so I very rarely run low on health and eve and ammo. I can even kill Mr Bubbles without too much trouble. My problem before was that I panicked and pressed the wrong buttons. It was part nerves, and part unfamiliarity. And I'm using things I never used before, too, trying to play smarter. I never used Enrage in my first go-round, for instance, but am finding it useful this time around. I still won't use the freeze plasmid, though. I don't like it because, once killed, the enemies don't leave any loot behind.
Oh, I was going to just harvest the Little Sisters this time instead of saving them. I was curious to see what difference it would make in the game. But I didn't have the heart to do it

Assassin's Creed 2. I thought I was meant to be going around assassinating, not dicking around with floozies and learning historical tidbits.klr wrote:What in the name of Jesus and all the saints is this?Animavore wrote:Oh for pity sake! Now I'm tapping buttons to seduce a woman.

When I wanted to kill something (or lots of things) I just fired up Doom.

I should've rented Bioshock 2. At least you get to kill little girls in it.

Historical tidbits are optional, and the dicking around with floozies is only brief and near the start of the game. I'm not defending the game as a whole though. Being vastly superior to the original doesn't mean it's a great a game. Good for a rent.Animavore wrote:Assassin's Creed 2. Such an AWESOME game!!klr wrote:Must. Stop. Playing. Alpha Centauri.
Right now i'm in the middle of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat, stuck early on in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, just starting Aliens vs. Predator, slowly working my way through Dragon Age: Origins, still slowly working my way through Far Cry 2, about to finish Mass Effect so I can move on to Mass Effect 2, about to finish Borderlands and I just finished The Saboteur. I also revisit TES IV: Oblivion and Fallout 3 every now and then to make some random progress here and there.

Might check out Assassins Creed 2 at some point in the near future...
Right NOW though, I'm actually working on my own video games

I tend to have loads of games on the go. I have finished Oblivion and the addons but theres so much downloadable user created content i don't think ill ever be finished with it. GTA IV is in progress as is a career in Silent Hunter IV.
Since christmas though i have almost exculusively been playing Flight Simulator X. A set of rudder pedals from santa along with an X-15 addon have kept me busy.
