I probably have enough in the boilerplate to get something useful, but I'm not really sure I have the heart for it now. This has taken the wind out of my sails a bit. I'll mull it over for a few days.

As I said on another post, one could see Josh as a Wormtongue to RD's aging Theoden...

Or another analogy is Josh as Cardinal Richlieu...

Or RD (pissed of at a forum that has grown beyond his control) saying "who will rid me of this turbulent forum" :hehe:

Right, then. I have copied all the articles and I have them as word documents, with images and everything. On the morrow, I'll sort them all out. Of course, there are a few entrants who either haven't found their way here yet, or haven't actually logged onto RDF yet, so I think we need their assent before continuing.

Just found a workaround!

You can change your location field. I'm also going to try changing my avatar with the url for here. If everybody puts the url in their location field, we might be able to get a few more.

I would, but it would seem they did unregister (or banned) me.

Edit: ER wow, I can't find ANY of my own posts.

See this thread? I started it, but the OP is missing.

Wtf is up with that?

I'm not sure RD deservews the same respect as Othello, vis-a-vis his handling of forum matters...

(I will never lose my respect for him as a science writer and atheist communicator, even if I disagree with the odd aspect of his position in those areas)

I suggest doing it now, before they turn the Avatars off.

I'm very upset that they have completely wiped me off the forum. All of my posts are gone. :nono:

They did that to me after the first great purge.
I'm wild just like a rock, a stone, a tree
And I'm free, just like the wind the breeze that blows
And I flow, just like a brook, a stream, the rain
And I fly, just like a bird up in the sky
And I'll surely die, just like a flower plucked
And dragged away and thrown away
And then one day it turns to clay
It blows away, it finds a ray, it finds its way
And there it lays until the rain and sun
Then I breathe, just like the wind the breeze that blows
And I grow, just like a baby breastfeeding
And it's beautiful, that's life

Yip I've already done this, if you have a link to change my avatar pic to the url for here I'll use that too.

Done. Great idea, Hack.
