COD MW2 is MODMW 1

Because its Modern Warfare: Modern Warfare 2.
They decided they were going to separate the franchise form the Call of Duty series.

So Modern Warfare is Call of Duty, but Modern Warfare 2 isn't CoD. It's Modern Warfare?

Steam calls it CoD:MW2 :dono:

A little question for fellow MW2 players. What the fuck does enemy intel do? I mean, I've collected a number of them but curious as to what they actualy do? Or is it just something you collect? :dono:
Do they add something or do something in anyway once you collect one or all of them?

EDIT: Never mind. I just googled it and now I know. Collect enough intel items and you'll be able to activate certain cheats. Cool!

The game is pretty disappointing, IMHO. It's no more than a mod for COD4. Just about everything, including all the unbalances, could have been achieved in an expansion pack for MW1.

I've not played MW1. I went from CounterStrike: Source onto MW2, so it's quite a good improvement.
