I already made a pun and it wasn't acknowledged :(

My punning is wasted on you lot.

It's cute, but gets boring too easily.
Is there for honest poverty
That hangs his heid and a' that
The coward slave, we pass him by
We dare be puir for a' that.

When I was a kid in Hong Kong we had servants. As well as a 'Cook Boy' and an Amah as well as a 'Makey Learney' (apprentice) I had a 'baby Amah'. She used to bath me up until the age of about six or seven as I recall and she spent far too much time in getting the - er.. crotch area..clean, in my view! I recall that, with a degree of pleasure as it happens....

Servants are a very mixed blessing. The first casualty of course is one's sense of social justice. :coffee:

The thing I liked about Upstairs Downstairs was the contentment each class had with their lot. Gordon Jackson did a wonderful job as Hudson, defending his "betters" and exuding the air of a man who was utterly content and at peace with his lot in life as a servant.
