She wrote all but a handful of the songs on both her albums. She has an amazing voice and is a competent guitar player. Shame she's a drugged-up twat.

If their particular accent isn't ordinarily associated with a certain music style, tough shit Something new will then be created, something fresh, unique. But the thing is, if she sings with an English accent and is true to herself, she may just find a style of music that fits it - she won't be singing faux jazz or soul, she won't be a fake. I don't care if she sings English folk songs - at least she will be true.
