Who is AA?

16-18% of Americans are secular, and he states 92% of Americans are religious. We are a bunch of religious nuts in the US, but it's not that bad either.

I was also interested to read that your government gave the Parliament of World Religions $4.5 million in public funding? For all the religiosity in the US. I'm pretty certain that none of our taxes publically fund religious organizations and coalitions. We do, of course give them tax breaks on the other end however.

I'm sorry, I should have been more specific - who is AA in the photo? I don't know their real name. :dono:

I don't know where the figures in the article came from, but it states that 92% of Americans believe in God. Not all people who state a belief in God would consider themselves 'religious'. Also, some people who support state secularism may also be theists.

 It doesn't add up!
.Only 12 per cent believe Darwin's theory of natural selection, ...... 24 per cent of Australians firmly believe there is no God, and 6 per cent are pretty sure
30% of Aussies don't believe or are pretty sure god doesn't exist, yet only 12% believe in evolution.
What do the other 18% believe If not evolution or goddidit?

Easy 4% refuse to Believe in evolution cos it's not a belief thing
4% cannot understand a word as long as evolution (but don't think their grandfather was a monkey)
