Someone on Pharyngula said it was because the search engine thinks you're repeating itself because Islam begins with "Is".
I just checked by typing "isreal is" and got "Isreal is real" "Israel Israel purdy" (?) "Israel is a terrorist state"... etc. So bullshit in other words.

Whatever the cause, it's hardly censorship. It's not like you can't search for "Islam is nonsense" or anything similar, just that it doesn't appear in an easy list to select from.

It is odd though. Just 'Islam' offers quite a few options but add 'is'.. and you draw a blank.

Let's not leap tp conclusions though.
