This actually made me feel nauseous

Post by Elessarina » Fri Dec 04, 2009 1:20 pm

You know what the greatest evidence for God is? It is the changing of one's heart. God is like the wind which is not seen with our physical eyes, but oh can you see its affects. The wind moves through the air, invisible, but when it comes upon a materialist object such as a tree, what happens? The tree sways and rocks back and forth. We do not see the wind, we see the results of the wind. The same could be said for electricity. We do not necessarily see the elec. but we see the result of a light bulb coming on. God is the same. Look at the people in your life and remember the people of your past. Was there ever an instance where you witnessed such a radical personality change you couldn't comprehend it? They are usually the depressed, suicidal, addicted, angry people that never seem to fit in...and then one day out of no where, they are full of joy and their faces are lit up like stars. What caused this change? Was it by their own will power? Did they simply choose in their mind to change? Or did an invisible wind blow into them lighting them up like a sun? No matter how you slice it, God takes faith. That faith is a gift that usually comes after much struggle and hardship. I believe I can see evidence of God in just about everything, but this is because of my own personal experiences. It still remains a choice. Will you honestly seek out the truth or will you lock yourself up in a box...claiming that there is more evidence of Santa than God?
I wish these people would just fuck off with their sickly bullshit..

I got as far as reading that apparently God is like a windfarm when the retching prevented further progress.

Evolution is a theory that is consistently changing positions as more tests are conducted and verified, but to many more scientists these days evolution has gone from theory to fact...This requires faith and that is not science. Scientists themselves have stated that evolution is proven by conducting scientific tests, but to declare that evolution is not a theory anymore, but is now a fact of how creation developed requires a leap of faith, especially since evolution studies continue to tests the very foundation of the theory.

The evolutionists will argue that any attempt to challenge the evolution evidence is an attempt by Christians to firm up their position in the "Belief in God" and their arguments have no scientific evidence to prove their position, but in fact, the bible is fully of scientific evidence to prove that there is an intelligent designer responsible for the design of creation. Thermo-dynamics is a study recognized in the scientific community and is found in the bible by its very definition, but since it is found in the bible the evolutionists will quickly point-out that it has no merit.

Matter of fact, there are many scientific definitions found throughout the biblical pages that explains how things work, but because the bible is believed to be the Living Word of God by the vast majority of Americans...the evolutionists refuse to accept the real facts of science. The evolutionists says that those who believe in God is very closed minded, but many Christians do believe that science has its place in the world and they do not disagree with everything that science discovers, however the same cannot be said for the evolutionists. They believe only in a scientific explanations about creation and have totally closed their minds to even a remote chance that God is real. So, who are really the closed minded in this debate?

Since, so many evolutionists are claiming that evolution is now a fact and no longer a theory, then I will challenge that evolution is no longer a science, but now a religion, because it requires the believer in the subject to take a leap of faith in the evidence to claim it to be a fact. Just like Christianity it that requires a leap of faith to believe in God and Jesus Christ is a religion, so the same is true with evolution as a fact.

Another argument that evolutionists love to point out about the bible is that it was written by humans, so it must be flawed, thus it cannot be relied on, but I would first like to point out, that the biblical authors were inspired by the Holy Spirit (GOD) and has never changed in its message throughout the years. However, evolution was written entirely by the hand of a human and is in a consist state of change, but the same evolutionists have embraced fully-heartedly the theory of evolution.

Another argument that evolutionists make is that God cannot be proven by science, but this is simply not true. Science has proven that God exists more than any other study. Science has recently proven the sheer complexity of the human genome with all of it trillions of complex cell walls and even the scientists do not have a full grasp of how all of the cells work together. Yet, the human DNA holds the key to human character, a blueprint of the human body and its features and even the key to illness, but even more so, it proves that it would need an intelligent designer to pull it all together. That's just one example of the existence of God, but there are trillions of other examples throughout the universe to consider, before any evolutionist or scientist can even consider that evolution is a fact rather than a theory.

Santa Claus fairytale that marketing professionals use to sale their products, but the true meaning of Christmas is the reality that God sent his Son Jesus Christ into the world, so to save it from sin. And, Santa Claus is just another attempt to spread a message of evolution as it is commonly referred to as Santa Claus in these types of forums and so, fitting since it is a fairytale as well.

I have a feeling I've read that before. They are evil. They prey on innocent fragile minds, homeless people and drugs addicts who've lost everything. They find them in the gutter and brainwash them. People who think like that need killin'. :tea:

Yes, and when they don't find them already there, they do their utmost to create in people a sense of low worth in order to introduce their hideous brand of 'redemption' ...

In The Case Against God, George H. Smith said, "In exchange for obedience, Christianity promises salvation in an afterlife; but in order to elicit obedience through this promise, Christianity must convince men that they need salvation, that there is something to be saved from. Christianity has nothing to offer a happy man living in a natural, intelligible universe. If Christianity is to gain a motivational foothold, it must declare war on earthly pleasure and happiness, and this, historically, has been its precise course of action. In the eyes of Christianity, man is sinful and helpless in the face of God, and is potential fuel for the flames of hell. Just as Christianity must destroy reason before it can introduce faith, so it must destroy happiness before it can introduce salvation."
