Yeah, a lot of shorthand in the earlier thread, which is why I didn't look to hard for it. Pre-coffee I don't even "aim".

2 rows in front of me the entire row was some kind of congregation that came in a big bus and voted as a block for the motion. One of them asked the question when Dawkins was in church last. It was very interesting to see that row, every sentence coming from Dawkins' mouth just fueled their hate. By the time the box came to our row to put you could see throughtthe slot however that besides that row pretty much all voted against.

We went there with a delegation of Atheistforums.org, where all administrators met for the first time in real life.

The debate was loads of fun, great humour being displayed from both sides.

Moore was a 12 minute argument from authority with a few ad-hominems and a Godwin's law thrown in for good measure. There was absolutely nothing in his statement that made a valid argument for the motion.

Harries was completely out of his league and chose a strategy that was doomed to fail.

Dawkins did what he had to do, refute the "arguments" made and kept it at that.

To me A.C. Grayling was by far the best speaker of the evening. Very clear, very concise. I loved his demeanor en methodological approach when presenting his answers and rebuttal.

Me neither. He lectures at the university of London and that was about all I knew about him at the time I went to the debate.
