South Carolina no less

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.
But those letters are not silent.
They're just waiting their turn.

I assure you its not the consensus down there. The judge is adhering to the law, not local mores.

I'm not going to applaud for what should have never come about. I'll applaud when the people responsible for the breach of the constitution are held responsible.

The article wrote:But Judge Currie ruled that the law amounted to state endorsement of a particular religion.
And she hit out at Mr Bauer, saying: "Whether motivated by sincerely-held Christian beliefs or an effort to purchase political capital with religious coin, the result is the same.
Yep. Very good decision.
There's a guy who drives around our small city in his motorhome playing christian songs over loudspeakers. His van is covered in christian slogans and his number plate is YAHWEH. I wonder if those who processed the application and issued the plate even knew what the word represents.
Numberplate applications like SNATCH and ORGASM are vetoed as too offensive while shite like that gets approval.

Now to outlaw airbags and brake lines in the cars of christian drivers...

Iagree with BAA- but- the more that the people are reminded of the constitution, the more they might think before following their "God given right to....."

BAA, they had the right to try. And to get a ruling on their effort. It could have been derailed at a lower level, but, I suspect, like the Scopes Trial, it was allowed to proceed to the point where a US Judge could make it clear that you can't do that. It was, in effect, a trap. Or so I hope.
