I'm pretty ancient, so, my references may be obscure. I also liked "Johnny Quest." In Chicago, we had a bizarre action cartoon called "Clutch Cargo." The characters were cartoons but had real-human looking lips that were superimposed. Freaky. I liked Shari Lewis and Kukla, Fran and Ollie. As I got older I loved "the Electric Company" and have several on DVD. PBS had a show called "Zoom" that I loved (we're talking early-mid 70's version). We didn't have cable or satellite in those days. I used to watch one of the Chicago stations on Sundays and watch archaic westerns "Lone Ranger/ Cisco Kid." I really enjoyed them. It's hard to find anything on tv today that even comes close in quality. That Chicago station filled those westerns with adverts from Bert Weiman Motors. They had a real smooth-talking announcer and they showed (what I considered) to be the most beautiful used cars. They simply glimmered and gleamed from intense polishing. Then they showed them off on a turntable that spun the car around. They were big-ass comfort cars, but I always had a fondness for Eldorados, Toronados. Those commercials were real "eye-candy." Since you spelled program with an extra "m" and "e" I might assume we had none of the same programming.
