Christopher Hitchens at the Festival of dangerous ideas
Re: Christopher Hitchens at the Festival of dangerous ideas
Christopher Hitchens at his eloquent and blunt best.
The only objection I have is to his use of 'schizophrenic' and 'epileptic' to characterise the thinking of people deluded by religion. It's insensitive, inappropriate and erroneous. I recently saw Bill Maher do the same thing in his interview with Richard Dawkins. People who suffer neurological mental illness and brain disorders are not the same as people who suffer under a memetic delusion, and they are just as likely to be atheists as any of us.

Using latest version of firefox...with uptodate flash and other media players installed.Windows Media Player cannot find the file. If you are trying to play, burn, or sync an item that is in your library, the item might point to a file that has been moved, renamed, or deleted.

Okay, I downloaded the file (choosing "open with Windows Media player" and it worked. Try saving the file and then opening it after the download is complete.Chauncey Gardner wrote:here's the error message I get.Gawdzilla wrote:Weird.
