I like Doc Martin!

Post by CJ » Sat Oct 03, 2009 12:33 pm

Doc Martin is a emotionally crippled doctor who has a phobia about blood not on the face of it a brilliant idea for a TV series. However Martin Clunes, who plays the Doc, carries it off very convincingly. A classic piece of lightweight Sunday night TV drama, excellent to relax to.

I saw it for the first time last week and though it was really crappy.... on a par with his Reggie Perrin. Sorry. :pardon:

I really like Doc Martin. It's twee but you need a bit of that now and then. The episode with the burning badger is my favourite, because he can say what you've always wanted to say to every dippy new-age parent who thinks their little monster shouldn't be vaccinated or shouted at.
