The single sequence doesn't tell you much, it's all eye candy. But compared to the original (with guys wearing light suits) it's a quantum leap. I just wonder where they'll take it.Pappa wrote:TRON?!?!![]()

I don't mind remakes specifically. Admittedly, 99.94523% of the time they are shite, but the other 0.05477% are reasonably good.... worth watching at least.Feck wrote:STOP DOING REMAKES ,so many books/graphic novels to do (millions ) ,or get some new films written, buy an original screenplay .

Re: Remakes galore?
Why are remakes usually so shit? Is it just that good directors and writers tend not to be interested in making remakes (big studios are), or is it something else?Gawdzilla wrote:The exception that proves the rule would "The Last Remake of Beau Geste."Pappa wrote:I don't mind remakes specifically. 1) We have preconcieved notions and ideas of characterisation and so on.
2) Remakes are usually of BIG SUCCESSFUL pieces of Visionary shit.
3) A lot of Producers and Directors don't know how to really make a film.
