Congrats to MAGA -- we won't have foreign produce because of tariffs and we won't have domestic produce because of ICE.

Donald Trump
General Asim Munir, Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff, has recommended President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.
is that worth more than a recommendation from Idi Amin Dada or emperor Bokassa?

Of course, Iran will agree to end this war now, clearly. Maybe in about two weeks.

Maybe after they’ve hit a few nearby US troops.
“Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE!”
Trump

It’s forever war. But perhaps more disturbing is the fact that the US government is deciding to bomb people based on whose side they think God’s on.

I'm not actually too upset that sites used to enrich Uranium beyond what is needed for civilian use have been targeted...

From what I've read, Iran (quite sensibly) evacuated the workers from those sites, suspecting what was to come, so the bombs only destroyed potential nuclear weapon infrastructure rather than civilians. As most of my previous posts would show, I'm not usually a fan of US military actions in other countries, but this particular action is actually quite rational. In comparison with Israel's actions in Gaza, it is positively virtuous!

Again, we’re always rational. We’re positively brilliant. Everybody we bomb had it coming.

I guess that’s just the easy part. :dunno:

I’d say they’re the same conflict Jim.

The fact that much of US military intervention in recent years can be criticised does not mean that every such intervention is valueless...

I'm not being sarcastic. We are rational. We are brilliant. That hasn't proven to be good enough.

You mentioned nukes. But even assuming they managed to make one, what have you seen from Iran that has convinced you this is more dangerous than the possibility of a war with the potential to bring several nuclear powers into play?
