Good solid QAnon type story-telling and it makes sense. The resulting DNA database may prove useful/profitable. No problem ignoring the constitutional protection against such an unreasonable and presumably warrantless violation of privacy, we'll just do it. It's not as if the Trumpist US government expects to respect the rights of 'illegals.' At least until some horrible activist judge points out that what the Trumpists themselves are doing is blatantly illegal.

Many children are not the biological offspring of their male parent - therefore all children and parents should have their DNA tested so the courts can make you pay for your legitimate heirs, and not pay for the bastards.

Of course the incident with Senator Padilla has produced competing narratives. The MAGA story is that he's 'former antifa' (that's Marj Greene's contribution) who 'burst into the room,' 'failed to identify himself' and was lunging at Department of Homeland Security Secretary Noem, so was forcefully restrained. They want him to be censured (perhaps removed from the US Senate) for his breach of decorum. The video evidence contradicts that narrative, and Padilla says that he was escorted into the press conference by FBI and the National Guard.

I think we're going to see a lot more of this sort of thing. Trumpists will try to dominate the narrative with lies as their authoritarian project continues forward. It's by no means a given that they won't succeed.

Investigators say Boelter may have been politically motivated. Authorities recovered materials from his vehicle, including fliers reading “No Kings,” referencing demonstrations planned against the Trump Administration, as well as a manifesto and a list containing names of other (Democratic) politicians.
