Former FBI guy posts an image with '86 47' and MAGA goes nuts, claiming he's inciting violence against the president. Never mind that '86 46' was a MAGA meme not so long ago. Now the president of the United States posts a video of himself hitting somebody he doesn't like with a golf ball, but of course that's OK. Clearly he has nothing better to do with his time.
A video [posted by Trump on his lame-ass Twitter knock-off] shows the president hitting a golf ball, with onlookers shouting "very nice" and "good shot."

The video then cuts to show an animated golf ball slamming into Springsteen and the singer stumbling on stage.

In reality, the Springsteen clip showed the 75-year-old singer tripping during a concert.

The 5-second clip comes after the rocker lambasted the president for his policies.

“In my home America, the America I've written about that has been a beacon of hope and liberty for 250 years, it is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent, and treasonous administration,” Springsteen said at in England last week.

third countries
Is it legal?
Yes, with some safeguards.

Federal law allows deportations to third countries. Presidents of both parties have used this power when an immigrant’s nation of origin is “recalcitrant,” meaning officials there won’t take him or her back. Venezuela, for instance, accepts deportees only sporadically. So if an administration wants to deport Venezuelans, it often needs to send them somewhere else.

The policy comes with two protections: First, migrants can challenge their deportation in court. And second, the destination must not be dangerous for them. Yesterday’s hearing touched on both issues. The judge, Brian Murphy, had ordered the administration not to deport migrants to third countries without giving them at least 15 days’ notice to raise concerns about potential dangers. Murphy said he might hold officials in criminal contempt for violating that order.

The Trump administration has used creative legal arguments to carry out third-country deportations, such as invoking the Alien Enemies Act to send Venezuelans to a prison in El Salvador. That’s not always necessary. The plaintiffs in Murphy’s court already had a “final order of removal,” so they had gone through the typical immigration court process.

Why South Sudan?
We don’t yet know if South Sudan is where the migrants are headed. The administration said it had sent eight migrants to a third country, but it hasn’t confirmed which. Their plane last stopped in the east African nation of Djibouti, my colleagues reported.

If South Sudan is the final destination, it’s likely the result of an agreement between the United States and South Sudan. Not many places want to take foreigners who the U.S. government says are criminals. But President Trump has offered economic incentives to entice third countries to play along. For example, the administration is paying El Salvador millions of dollars to hold deportees in its prisons.

Through the liquidity pool, the creators of Trump’s meme coins make money by charging tiny fees on each trade.

“You don’t really care about what happens to the price. You only care that there is continuous volume,” said Nicolai Søndergaard, a research analyst at the blockchain analytics firm Nansen. “Because the more volume there is, that means more trades and therefore more fees for you.”

Since cryptocurrency blockchains are public, it’s possible to track how much in trading fees has been paid. Chainalysis said Trump meme coin creators made more than $1.3 million in trading fees in the week after the dinner was first announced. The value of the meme coin jumped from about $9 to around $14 just after the announcement. It was trading around $11 on Monday afternoon.

During an interview with NBC’s “Meet the Press” over the weekend, Trump said he didn’t follow the price swings of his meme coin and dismissed the idea that he was profiting from the presidency. He also rejected a suggestion that he would forgo any profits made from his crypto endeavors.

Launched just before he took office, Trump’s meme coin has become one of the most high-profile ways the norm-breaking president has mixed politics and his personal finances.

The remaining 80% of Trump’s meme coins, which are still under a lock-up, have been allocated to CIC Digital and another company. An ethics agreement prohibits Trump from “day-to-day” decision making at the Trump Organization when he’s president and limits the financial information about the

"Now, let me get this straight.  The president who wants to eliminate waste, fraud and abuse wants to waste $1 billion retrofitting a luxury jet to serve as Air Force One when he already has two fully functional jets that serve as Air Force One?  Now I understand why Trump had problems with bankruptcy during his life."

EU is ripping us off! (trade balance, again)
Trump: I'm recommending a 50% tariff on the EU
Newsflash: Donald Trump has just announced he is recommending a 50% tariff on goods from the Europen Union, from the start of next month.

Ratcheting up the trade war, Trump has claimed in a Truth Social post that the EU has been ‘very difficult’ to deal with, and that the current US trade in goods deficit is “totally unacceptable”.

Trump also claims that the EU was set up to take advantage of the US on trade.

He says:

The European Union, which was formed for the primary purpose of taking advantage of the United States on TRADE, has been very difficult to deal with.

Their powerful Trade Barriers, Vat Taxes, ridiculous Corporate Penalties, Non-Monetary Trade Barriers, Monetary Manipulations, unfair and unjustified lawsuits against Americans Companies, and more, have led to a Trade Deficit with the U.S. of more than $250,000,000 a year, a number which is totally unacceptable.

why am I not surprised at all?

a) if that jet is to become state property rather than be frump property at the end of the term, it might still be a good idea to outfit it as an alternative AF1

b) frump is a moron, if he can't understand that a trade deficit may have more to do with 'we need their goods more than they need ours' than with any unfair trade practices... after all, back in the 1700s and early 1800s, it wasn't China's business to care whether they actually wanted western goods when western nations were all over themselves trying to get tea and porcelain.
also, his 'we'll put tariffs on it' solution doesn't solve anything since it is doubtful if American companies can satisfy the demand for European goods with locally produced stuff and if the demand is strong enough, the people will just pay more, and have less money for the US economy at large.

“Bruce and thousands of musicians think you are ruining America. You worry about that instead of the dyin’ kids in Gaza.”

“That’s your problem. I am not scared of you,” Young’s message continued. “Neither are the rest of us.”

Springsteen stoked Trump’s wrath last week when the rocker called his administration “corrupt, incompetent and treasonous” during a concert in Manchester, England.

“Remember what the White House is? 86/47???” Young asked, appearing to reference former FBI director James Comey’s Instagram post that outraged the president and his supporters. “That’s what you think about?

“You are forgetting your real job,” continued Young, who was born in Canada and became a U.S. citizen in 2020. “You work for us. Wake up Republicans! This guy is out of control. We need a real president!”

Republicans are acting like the perfect Republicans. And MAGA will keep voting for them in 2026. All 30 million of them.

That’s called obsession and it’s entirely yours. —been there, done that, and getting out didn’t mean the other guy wasn’t a baddie, just that I was free to leave it at that and return to my own world…
