The consensus is drugs, but is it possible he’s already on Mars and controlling a bot remotely? Or, maybe he’s had some of his tech implanted before it was ready. :dunno:
I was given a year of free milkshakes once. The year passed and I hadn’t bothered to get even one.

The only EV the president loves more is his golf buggy.

Tennessee voter charts area citizens. 30% of the Musk labeled parasites pay for insurance. 15% are parasites, 10% are uninsured.

US President Donald Trump has slashed funding to multiple media organisations including Voice of America, Radio Free Asia and Radio Free Europe, in another round of funding cuts one critic labelled "reckless and haphazard".

As details of impact of the funding reductions continue to emerge, nearly 1300 VOA staff have been placed on "leave" and one US Congress representative warned the move would be detrimental to US influence in authoritarian-ruled countries.

The cuts came after Congress passed its latest funding bill on Friday night US-time, and President Trump directed his administration to reduce the function of several government agencies to the minimum required by law.

That included the US Agency for Global Media (USAGM), which houses Voice of America, Radio Free Europe, Radio Free Asia and Radio Marti.

USAGM employed roughly 3,500 people and had an $US886 million budget in 2024, according to the agency's latest report to Congress.
On Saturday, Mr Musk made light of the cuts to USAGM.

"While winding down this global government propaganda agency, it has temporarily been renamed the Department of Propaganda Everywhere (DOPE)," he wrote on X.
In addition to USAGM, Mr Trump's executive order also targeted other federal agencies for cuts that would limit them "to the minimum presence and function required by law".

These included the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, the Woodrow Wilson International Centre for Scholars, the Institute of Museum and Library Services, the US Interagency Council on Homelessness, the Community Development Financial Institutions Fund, and the Minority Business Development Agency.

Propaganda is notoriously slippery to identify. I'm strongly in favour of tracking down government spending on that, and getting rid of it.

Just look at what the BBC covered up, with regards to the grooming gang scandals (especially the Tommy Robinson coverage) and look at what the 'left' is outraged about. Musk might cause propaganda to pay a bit less...does that help, or hinder the BBC in their efforts to supress the stories it doesn't want covered?

You seem somewhat partially fixated on some brands of propaganda but rather sanguine or nonchalant about other kinds. I don't actually think you have the problem with propaganda, as either a concept or as a practice, as you say or think you do.

Yes, in short.

To expand a bit, that's how propaganda works.

If you can't ever talk ideas over with other people, ALL you have is propaganda (a filter you or I self-assemble partly)

For instance the BBC type, was being active in a coverup along with law enforcement, goverment at various levels, and despite their clear-as-Saville involvement, people still trust their reporting on law enforcement, government at various levels, and crime.

How can someone take them seriously, after all they've been caught doing? I mean, part of the problem is that people in the UK are in danger of running afoul of laws, if they criticise a bit carelessly, I get that. But why have they still got what looks like public trust?

Musk raised this issue, does that mean people have to publically oppose him on it?
