This could actually be really nice... better management, and none of the idealistic obsession with democracy that doesn't quite rub my tastes the right way...

I added sugar to a vigorously boiling pan, and it frothed up so much it boiled over and caramelised. Unlike jam, the pectin in marmalade gets destroyed when it boils over, so the batch becomes unsettable.

I'd hate to see our community of friends slowly disperse because of dissatisfactions.
