You're right, Gaza isn't an open air prison. To end up in prison you generally have to have done something vile and illegal and are sentenced only after a legal due process has examined and considered the evidence - rather than simply being born in the wrong place and time. Well, unless being Palestinian is all the evidence you need I suppose.

You know Hamas is severely weakened, because the aid that has been going into Gaza for the past six plus months is actually getting through to the civilians now. This means that Hamas lacks the power to deprive its own people by intercepting the aid.

Well, the thing is, I don't unquestionably believe Hamas - which is why I qualified my comment accordingly. That's definitely something you've brought to the table and projected onto my comments. The reason not to unquestionably accept the fatality figures produced by the Gaza health authority as absolute or definitive is because they're almost certainly wrong by quite a margin.

I also don't conflate or equate the action and intent of Israel's current political and military administration with that of Jews generally - unlike yourself, it seems. My comment clearly referenced 'Israeli armed forces' not 'Jews' - and one can only assume that you elided the distinction between the two deliberately.

I'm simply going to repeat the challenge I've put to you a number of times already, and which you've so far stoically ignored: as you are eager to assert that the fatality figures from the Gaza health authority are untrustworthy/unreliable (and that merely reporting them on a forum amounts to a slight against all Jews globally t'boot), please outline in what regards the numbers are wrong, and by what amount or measure, and then provide trustworthy/reliable figures from an independent, authoritative and verifiable source.

Yeah I couldn't even be bothered addressing the Jew thing in my reply. It's patently dishonest. Perhaps we should quote the recent figure of 190k (I think it was) which includes an estimate of the multitudes buried alive by the most moral army in the world.
