Jordan failed one round. 15 rounds again?

Agreed, I'm not trolling at all, but you're fixation with the 51 formers is hilarious.

I think of it anytime someone treats the US FBI/CIA/DOJ as 'trustworthy' or pretending they will pursue justice.

But tell me, how much do you trust those sitting on Maxwell's client list?

What a pointless question, since I don't know any of those people and will likely never know any of them. But if you want an answer, I will give you one to match its pointlessness.

Gee, if the FBI had the laptop, how could the news hide the info? Wouldn't it be Trump's Justice Department who did the cover-up? :coffee:

The FBI has the Maxwell/Epstein client lists.

Trustworthy, hardworking and will be making arrests very soon, surely.

Meanwhile, they send hordes of agents to investigate a garage door pull, but just can't seem to lay charges against the elites who were surely the customers of Maxwell.

The FBI covered up the client list. 51 former intelligence agents agreed that it wasn't worth complaining about.
We've been treated to ''what about the FBI protecting Epstein's clients?' repeatedly, and I think it could be a worthwhile line of inquiry. So I decided to look it up. I found a source that states it plainly: 'All of them are protected from criminal prosecution by New York’s Statute of Limitations on child sexual abuse.' This source is dedicated to preventing child sex abuse so it would be farcical to claim that they're presenting a falsehood to protect Epstein's clients, but I'm not foolish enough to believe that will stop you.

As for the FBI covering up 'the client list,' maybe you have forgotten or never knew that it was in fact courts of law that determined which documents (including names of Epstein's associates) would be released. In fact thousands of pages of documents were released, and several big names were made public in the course of the trials and subsequent release of documents. If it makes you happy to blame the FBI, carry on. Again, I'm not foolish enough to believe that facts will determine what you post here.

Perhaps you were distracted by the problem of the news trying to hide information they didn't have. Bit of a puzzle that. :smug:

Child sexual abuse ran out the clock in New York. That isn't all that was being alleged, by the public corruption investigators. There was trafficking, and maybe something related to public corruption. Guess we will never know, and it's likely for our own good.

Yes, they HAD the list, as did the judges involved. They all decided to protect someone by keeping it quiet.

I'm guessing because a lot of the perpetrators were also victims (of blackmail, for example).

That Maxwell judge even hid the details of the case, because they were too much for the rest of the general public. Most of whom watch Game Of Thrones and Special Victims Unit.

So justice, but only for those decided by the few. Sounds like all involved are untrustworthy. And most journalists not at all curious. Guess sex crimes don't 'sell' or something.

The New York Statute of Limitations generally covers 5 years on felonies, which includes trafficking. The law was recently changed in regard to child sexual abuse but there are restrictions on how it can be applied retroactively.

I agree that American criminal law often only incidentally delivers actual justice, and that the rich and powerful seldom suffer the consequences that the rest of the population endures when caught up in its machinery. This is readily apparent from reading the mainstream press but apparently right wing podcasts are more trustworthy.

The lies work though. People still think the laptop is 'russian disinformation', or entirely irrelevant.

A drug-addled whore-monger admits in later life that he was a shit, and he gets the 'Russell Brand' treatment.

A drug-addled whore-monger keeps his secrets, and he gets the 'Hunter Biden' treatment.

So news agencies are, as Carl Benjamin so aptly put it, dirty smear-merchants.

And they will continue to be such, working HARD for one party. We all know who benefitted from the laptop story being suppressed.

Well, I'm sure these sites are bastions of the Me Too movement in their support for victims of sexual assault and abuse. I bet they've taken the E. Jean Carroll verdict to heart and are giving some consideration and voice to the women who claim to have been sexually assaulted by our former President, and other prominent figures.

That might boost their credibility with people who are advocates for the victims, right? :thinks:
