An excerpt:
As Israel and Palestinians begin yet another war, the question needs to be asked: Are Israelis and Palestinians locked forever in this dreadful cycle of violence, with thousands of families on both sides forever grieving their lost children, parents or siblings?
Unfortunately, I think the answer is yes...
Thought it was interesting that the "Palestinian" man (I assume they mean Arab-Israeli) was upset about getting abuse, which is fair enough.

Now imagine that the roles were reversed, and it was a Jewish man in Gaza. Do we think verbal abuse would be the limit of what he got? Because I think he would be lucky to escape with his life.

Ireland as a whole suffered from english depredations for 8 centuries, 9 for the 6 british counties.

Oxfam 'rape kits for gaza' campaign

Not quite but noticed Oxfam has a somewhat noticeable Gaza campaign, but nothing for Israel despite the suffering being on both sides. Is it right that a organisation with a history of sex abuse scandals should be taking the abusers side in this conflict which is producing unnecessary suffering on both sides?

I don't think Israel is suffering an extreme humanitarian crisis, isn't under military occupation, hasn't had it's economy devastated, its water, power, food, and medical supplies cut off, and isn't being remorselessly bombed from the air - so Oxfam are probably focusing their efforts in the right area.

Thought they enjoyed the theatrics. How come they didn't spend the monies on their five thousand missiles on some aid then? Miss blowing up buses since the wall was constructed I guess? Whose land is it then? A question outside living memory, now. South Korea does quite well as a rump state without giving a inch to the North. Why can't they if their so hard done by? Cos they're hate filled low life scum is why.

I don't think you realise how bad the situation in Gaza is. Some of their swimming pools are running out of chlorine ffs.

Just deflection through sarcasm in an attempt to make SD the centre of the discussion. Don't fall for it.

There are lots of swimming pools in Gaza. I'm not sorry if this truth offends anyone.

In fact you can play my new quiz at Sporcle, "Gaza or Dubai", to see if you can spot the difference.

Wasn't disputing that there's swimming pools in Gaza. There's also schools, hospitals, power plants, bakeries, mosques, churches, bridges, roads, public buildings and residential tower blocks. And makeshift morgues as well.

Right. But I keep hearing about how it's an open-air prison and a concentration camp. Last time I checked, Bergen-Belsen didn't have seafood restaurants, and there were no luxury chalets in Auschwitz.

I'm sure those facilities are a great solace in these difficult times.
