'Biden Impeachment Inquiry: GOP Witness Turley Admits There’s Not Enough Evidence To Impeach Biden—Yet'
Constitutional law expert Jonathan Turley cast doubt on the merits of impeaching President Joe Biden during the first hearing in the GOP-led House Oversight Committee’s impeachment probe Thursday—but said the inquiry itself is merited.
Turley, who also served as a witness during impeachment hearings of former Presidents Donald Trump and Bill Clinton, said he does “not believe that the current evidence would support articles of impeachment” against Biden.

Jamie Raskin (D-Md.)—the Oversight Committee’s top Democrat—said Republicans are doing Trump’s bidding in launching the impeachment inquiry, accusing them of acting “like flying monkeys on a mission for the Wicked Witch of the West.” He added that the mountain of bank records Republicans have collected from Biden’s son Hunter Biden and other family members doesn’t show a “single dime” went to the president.
