Has anyone rounded up the Clintons yet for their 'Foundation?'JimC wrote: ↑Fri Oct 06, 2023 8:49 pmThe thing is, deliberately overvaluing property for the purpose of financial gain is fraud, and against the law. The over-valuing was not just a slight increase by accident, it was huge, and involved false declarations of things like the physical dimensions of property. Why the financial institutions accepted the valuation is not legally relevant. Perhaps they were simply lazy in their checking, or perhaps they turned a blind eye because they wanted Trump's future business. It will be interesting to see if any of the institutions which accepted the false valuations will have their own legal troubles...
Now you, and all the Trumpsters out there see this whole affair as just one more attack by Democrats. In an earlier post, I expressed the view that the overt partisan nature of the US political system, where judges, prosecutors and other officers of the law are avowedly Republican or Democrat, and often elected on that basis is a very dangerous situation, that makes accusations like this quite plausible. I'm pretty certain that your own country, Canada, shares a similar legal system with the UK and Australia, where a reasonable degree of separation exists between the legal system and party politics. I agree that this situation casts a pall of doubt over the motivations for various prosecutions of Trump, although all the accounts suggests his guilt is grounded in objective facts.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clinton_FoundationBeginning in 2015, the foundation was accused of wrongdoing, including a bribery and pay-to-play scheme, but multiple investigations through 2019 found no evidence of malfeasance. The New York Times reported in September 2020 that a federal prosecutor appointed by attorney general Bill Barr to investigate the origins of the 2016 FBI Crossfire Hurricane investigation had also sought documents and interviews regarding how the FBI handled an investigation into the Clinton Foundation. In May 2023 it was revealed that the Justice Department had continued to investigate the Foundation until days before the end of the Trump presidency, when FBI officials insisted the DOJ acknowledge in writing that there was no case to bring.
Round them up for what?

What I don't get is why Trump isn't being done for mass manslaughter on top of the 91 counts of criminality. Every single Republican covid victim extra above the average dead is directly or indirectly because of Trump.

They all did. Everyone morally bankrupt one of them with the power to influence people for the better got vaccinated themselves.
It would've been a greater good if Trump died that time he got covid, instead of recovering and claiming it was not a breeze (despite reports he was in a bad way), as it may have led to any of his supporters who weren't completely assimilated to the cult reconsidered, potentially preventing some unnecessary deaths.
Fair trade to me.

Which big pharmacy companies do you think are awesome? All of them? Or just the ones who produced a vaccine for the Wu-Flu?
I'm still a bit skeptical, but since Brand pointed out the pharma companies took huge gov't money to make their mRNA jab, then kept the profits, it's probably stained and really tough for individuals to express criticism without looking like they are letting down the side of dancing needles, free donuts and othering dissenters.
But the weirdest part is so MANY people said they would never take the Trump vaccine, then somewhere along the way changed their tunes...

As always, it is hard to see what or who you are attacking, with your preference for snide questioning to reasoned debate. One can admire the brilliant science behind the program to develop mRNA vaccines, and correctly observe that they saved multiple lives while still being critical of the rapacious capitalist model of big pharmaceutical companies. But that critique should be a general one - they are no more or no less rapacious than global corporations in general - it's the way capitalism works...Cunt wrote: ↑Sat Oct 07, 2023 2:20 pmWhich big pharmacy companies do you think are awesome? I'll ask you - which big pharmacy companies do you think are awesome?
Pfizer used the mRNA platform. Are they admirable and brilliant?
Pfizer also had the executive who was exposed by James O'Keefe awhile ago. Are they still brilliant after that?
The inventor of that tech, a Dr. Malone, has expressed specific reservations about its use so far. Do you know his criticisms?
One can admire the brilliant science behind the program to develop mRNA vaccines, and correctly observe that they saved multiple lives while still being critical of the rapacious capitalist model of big pharmaceutical companies.
If they are indeed rapacious, can you say where Pfizer spends their ad budget, and comment on what effect that might have on those who rely on that advertising revenue? But that critique should be a general one - they are no more or no less rapacious than global corporations in general - it's the way capitalism works...
I think people accepting huge money from that company, can't be trusted to be honest about their messages about that company's products.
By the way, I will trust the inventor of the mRNA vaccines over any talking head at news agencies that accept large payments from the Pfizer selling drugs. Will you?
His name is Dr. Malone, and he has said much publicly about it. I'm sure you have had an opportunity to consider his criticims.
But this is about Trump, so just remember how many people said they wouldn't take the Trump vaccine, then later changed their tune, even to the point of pushing mandates for that same vaccine.
At least old doddering Joe has come around to the MAGA plan, and is going to build that wall. Good on the old codger! Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks?

One other: Here’s what I don’t understand - before Trump entered into the political arena, people led their lives, never experienced babies being slaughtered after birth because the mother didn’t want them. No one heard about this until some crack pot decided to spread this idiotic nonsense.
But, because Trump says it, repeating the same crap started by a crack smoking strategist, it has to be the gospel truth.
What in hell is wrong with these people?
