“Working up the chain, prosecutors could potentially flip Clark and Perry to get to Meadows, and Meadows to get to Trump,” McQuade said “Each link in the chain would seem to have information that could be useful to prosecuting the next link up.”

Judge making up shit and passing ot off as an opinion:
On all these legal questions, Cannon’s consideration of these issues was superficial and conclusory. For example, she determined that Trump would be irreparably injured in part because he has a need for the documents seized, in part because information about these items may be leaked to the press and harm him and in part because these documents may subject him to criminal prosecution.

Re: All Things Trump: the story continues...
America loves come backs:
Only, we love the personal triumphs of people who return to active life or achievements after some catastrophe or ill health. Not this thing.
https://www.cnn.com/2022/09/06/politics ... index.htmlGraham talks publicly about what he has been telling Trump in private – as he did in a CNBC interview on Monday.
“I’m literally telling you what I tell him,” said Graham. “If you lose again, the history about who you are and what you did dramatically changes. If you come back, it will be one of the greatest political comebacks in American history. And if you get four more years, you can do big stuff.”
Remember this: Trump is, at heart, a reality TV producer. He’s forever focused on storylines and narratives – always looking for compelling angles and people. (Part of how he decided on who would make up his original Cabinet was whether they looked the part.)
What Graham is selling Trump on then is just such a storyline – the idea of the former President as the comeback kid. The guy whom voters regretted getting rid of four years prior and now have a chance to right that wrong.
Only, we love the personal triumphs of people who return to active life or achievements after some catastrophe or ill health. Not this thing.

https://www.npr.org/2022/05/19/10985438 ... eath-tollsPro-Trump counties continue to suffer far higher COVID death tolls
Even with widely available vaccines and newly effective treatments, residents of counties that went heavily for Donald Trump in the last presidential election are more than twice as likely to die from COVID-19 than those that live in areas that went for President Biden. That's according to a newly-updated analysis from NPR, examining how partisanship and misinformation are shaping the pandemic.

Trump good for...Trump, but not GOP:
In other words, the more Trump is on people's minds, the better Democrats are doing.
This, of course, is not what Republicans want. Although Biden has become more popular in the past month (more on that in a second), he's still not all that popular. Presidents whose approval ratings are south of 45% tend to see their party lose a lot of seats in Congress.
Trump, though, is even more unpopular than Biden. His net favorability rating (favorable minus unfavorable) in a Wall Street Journal poll out last week was -19 points -- considerably worse than Biden's -8 points.

Trump filed the case in the wrong Florida court. It seems that some "federal records act" demands that cases like Trump papers have to be filed in Washington DC courts. The judge nevertheless made a decision. Now what?

If the judge made a decision he had no right to make, I assume the party that doesn't like the decision will appeal and get it struck off.
