In either case, terror will most likely come from the side of capital, which has the entire machinery of the state on its side. Working class terror will most likely appear as individual and random "insane" acts of violence, desperate and suicidal as long as capitalism is safely in power. The terror of the proletariat could become a dangerous force when capitalism is on its death bed. Terror is coming on a scale never seen before. It seems that only nuclear war could create the conditions for the final crisis of capitalism. I see nothing else sufficient to overthrow capitalism, and nuclear war would be a manifestation of the capitalist contradiction between the immense wealth available for protecting life and the actual destructive use of this potential.
