Some observations on the hopelessness of revolutionary theory:
DIVISION OF THE WORLD INTO TWO OPPOSING WARRING CAMPS. THE LOSERS WILL LOSE EVERYTHING AND WILL BE LEFT AT THE COMPLETE MERCY OF THE VICTORS.
The victors of WW2 divided the world among themselves, with the most corrupt elements gaining ascendancy over the others. Capital will become fully fascistized to prevent a reoccurence of previous crisises such as WW2, WW1, the Great Depression, atomic warfare, etc.

In either case, socialism will be crushed by Stalinistic communism and neo-fascistic capitalism. Both systems of domination are more similar than they are different. Real socialism stays alive in rational thought and the radical imagination, but in either case it remains something unreal contradicted by the actual reality. The capitalist and pseudo-communist states will annihilate all opposition against them.

Keeping Marxism alive as a valid theory of thought and action entails ruthless criticism of Soviet Communism and American Capitalism in all their deceptove forms.

With zero opposition, capitalism was allowed to grow and expand without any resistance whatsoever, leading to the eventual global conquest of the entire planet by capitalist forces. Social democracy slowly transformed itself into radical liberalism, a weakening and dilution of both revolutoonary theory and practice is due to the overwhelming power of capitalism to bring everything under its perverse control. Radical liberalism is the dead outer shell of revolutionary theory containing within it the conformist toleration of all things capitalism at its core. Sounding revolutionary on the surface, in practice it iis the very opposite of everything it claims to be. At its core, the theory of radical liberalism renounces class violence, rejects revolution, and condemns the radical redistribution of wealth of the violent actions of the working class. Social democracy was always a watered down and diluted form of Marxism, making it an easy target for disintegration under the impact of global monopoly capitalism. Social democracy became radical liberalism, thereby becoming a superficial theory utilized to justify the continued functioning and reformation of existing capitalism. Communists, completely cut off from the working classes and lacking any concrete forms of action, withered away as a movement and became a matter of individual preference rather than a real living social political force.
Fascism became the mortal enemy of socialism. But fascism was the military form of capitalism, its extension into every area of life, and the rule of total capital over human affairs. Capital found a way, both internal.and external, to utilize all its resources for its defense and expansion. The fascism of today is very different from that of the past in that terror is reserved for a very small minority of the opposition, while the majority are indoctrinated into submission through highly sophisticated propaganda techniques. Fascism is extreme liberalism defended with technological daggers from every angle. Against such a system, any type of violence directed at the centers of power is justified and legitimate by natural laws.
COMMUNISM HAS BECOME LINKED TO THE CRIMES OF STALINISM AND MAOISM. ITS NAME IS TARNISHED AND DRENCHED WITH THE BLOOD OF MILLIONS.
Even the ideology of communism is rejected by the majority of the population. Under such circumstances, the working classes find themselves divided and isolated from each other, with no power or influence to fight against the total global organization of capitalism. There exists no power, no force, no authority to challenge the material and military superiority of capital. At present, survival of the communist ideology, even just as an idea, must be priority number one, even though it is completely defeated by the painful reality, past, present, and future. The sole weapon against fascism that could be effective would be the general strike which would require the participation of millions of workers, something unlikely to occur as long as the system is able to bribe the workers into submission by providing liveable wages and salaries. The general strike would work during the breakdown of the system, when it can no longer provide the minimum material security to the majority of the population. For the general strike to be effective, it would have to be done on scale never seen before, entailing the unification of millions of workers from all branches of industry.

Political democracy can go hand in hand with economic inequality, which demonstrates that the political facade provides a deceptive veil to conceal the inequality, injustice, and illegality at the heart of the capitalist system. The contradiction between the totalitarian economic system and the democratic political controls to preserve it demonstrate the power of the system to control all opposition within it. The stable contradiction between the political claims of democracy and the economic reality of totalitarianism appears to be a product of the perfection of domination over centuries.

Let's say you just got sentenced to 25 years of imprisonment but we would shorten your term to 10 years but you had to endure 2 sessions of non-permanent torture (no lasting physical damage), would you take it?
