It's almost like the FBI is trying to build a case that will stand up in court, and don't want to give a clever defense attorney something to use against them in the trial. As Merrick Garland, the FBI Director's boss, said, "It's our longstanding norm to not comment on ongoing investigations. The best way to undermine an investigation is to say things out of court about how they're going."

This wasn't about Hunter Biden, but the principle Garland applied to the accused in this case applies to him as well. Gaetz is a self-aggrandizing ass monkey, but the principle applies to him too. Every American is constitutionally entitled to what we call due process of law, and what Gaetz uses to fuel his conspiracy driven wet dreams is simply that, and confirms what Jim is saying.

OK, this is a bit conspiracy-theory territory, but if the Maxwell/Epstain couple were a 'honey pot' trap, those who were victims of their blackmail could now enjoy the just protection of the law.
