As long as you don't look at what was ON the laptops, it's no problem. Just keep treating it like 'bad information' and you're fine. If you start looking at what has been found on it (links to business concerns with his family, Burisma, metabiota etc.) then it starts looking REALLY suspicious that no-one has really been willing to treat this as a serious story.

I mean, with you not interested in politics, it isn't a surprise, but some orgs make their living reporting on the political lives of earth, and if THEY showed a studious disinterest, it might look significant.

If you were interested in it at all, you would have looked into it in the year or two since it was out.

As it is, it looks like most people just believed CNN that it was 'Russian Disinformation'.
