Those are the current regulations from the U.S, government's official site. It's on other sites.

CDC
https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-nc ... index.html
If you plan to travel internationally, you will need to get a COVID-19 viral test (regardless of vaccination status or citizenship) no more than 1 day before you travel by air into the United States.
VIsittheUSA

More information about the vaccination requirement and documentation is available from the CDC.

Testing Requirement

International travelers aged two and older are required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 viral test result taken no more than one day before travel.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Well could. I'm now worried about being stuck in the UK, but too late to change plans now.

Our county has had 5-50 cases a day past 2 weeks. Some days were zero.

Could be worse. You could get stuck in Belgium!

Yeah really it's vinegar all the way.

Or is it your county isn't testing anymore and the cases are showing at the hospital.
What's you hospitalization with Covid rate and in particular ICU load.
BA2 is as catching as measles so if you beleive those low rates represent anything I've got a bridge for sale in Brooklyn.

Very low numbers. All the county testing facilities are open (and free). I've posted Sarasota Memorial stats before. There are about 100 ICU beds give or take (number changes as requirements change), and about 800 or so total beds. It's the largest health provider in the county. It's also the county (public) hospital and is where any indigent or uninsured patients would go.
Includes hospitalized patients who are positive for COVID-19 and those cleared of infection but still hospitalized at SMH facilities.

Total COVID inpatients today: 31 (32 yesterday)
COVID patients in ICU: 7 (8 yesterday)
% Unvaccinated Inpatients*: 75% (updated weekly on Wednesdays)
...
Cumulative COVID-19 Cases
Total number of patients treated since outbreak began.
Patient admissions: 6,421 (6,418 yesterday)
Patient deaths: 647 (647 yesterday)
https://www.smh.com/Home/News-Events/Re ... ews-update

These numbers were current as of March 9.

As usual, a huge majority of patients are unvaccinated. When you asked if I thought 1000 deaths daily was acceptable, I'd have to answer "yes". These people choose not to vaccinate. They choose to roll the dice. While I have great sympathy for any who are unable to vaccinate for medical reasons, that number is vanishingly small. The ones dying are either a) riddled with co-morbidities and I'm really sorry for that or b) willfully ignorant morons and I am NOT sorry for them at all. This is their own goddamn fault and I'm sick and tired of having to deal with their fucking idiocy. Let them die already, as far as I'm concerned they deserve it. I see no reason we should restrict the rights of all the rational people for a small percentage of whack-job conspiracy theorist imbeciles who think Bill Gates jacks off into each vaccine dose. Honestly, the rest of the world has had e-fucking-nough of their nonsense and they need to fuck off and die.
