A deliberate Chernobyl?Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has called on Russia to end its attack on the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.
He says if the plant blows up, the effect will be "10 times larger than Chernobyl". It's important to note that this facility is far more advanced than Chernobyl, including in its safety infrastructure.
Posting to telegram, Mayor of nearby town Enerhodar Dmitri Orlov said he had received reports the first power unit of the station was under threat.
A livestream of CCTV of the plant has shown heavy gunfire, flares and blazes throughout the plant in recent minutes.

I suspect Putin wants them to shut it down.

Accident waiting to happen. How do you balance all the loads and rods and what not in a war zone where the vast majority aren't even using electricity in a way that is predictable if at all? These things require constant adjustment.

Your naive optimism, while charming in its way, won't save you from the inevitable.

When Kasparov says he won't stop until he's stopped I said that a few days ago. I beat Kasparov.
Don't like anything with a name like 'dream' for some reason? a rational leader would have hauled it off back to Moscow. Could be a deliberate message to the US with Putin growing up as a street thug, using the plane to send a message like a horses head thrown in a bed...

Never fear! We're sending Kamala over there to sort this shit out right and proper! She'll bray them to death. You give us Sukhoi Su-27? We give you Woke Donkey of Death!
But she understands what's going on over there. She's been thoroughly briefed, she's an expert! How can you put it more succulently or accurately than this?

Those Ruskies must be shaking in their combat boots knowing we're sending an Intellectual Powerhouse(tm) like this over!Kama Kama Kama Kama Kama Kamala wrote:So Ukraine is a country in Europe. It exists next to another country called Russia. Russia is a bigger country. Russia is a powerful country. Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine. So basically that’s wrong. And it goes against everything that we stand for.

Well, prosecute them then. Kamala can hijack Putin's yacht, arrest him and haul him to the Hague court.

They've declared it a hot war. Basically means they'll fire a nuke or many nukes at first chance they get. You do understand the Russians ain't politicking around? Terminator Putin, kills his Ukraine and then goes out with a hail of bullets shooting up anything or anyone along the street but especially those in the big house across the pond....

And She will too, as will biden, because inflicting her on Russia is likely a war crime.

With most foreign media shut off, Putin rules:
Beyond selling the war to the public, the televised show also tied many of those officials closer to Putin, making it harder for them to later denounce the war or act as if they had not lobbied for it.
“You can’t discuss the situation in rational terms,” said Kolesnikov. “All these people at the very top are in one boat, one submarine with Putin and they don’t have an exit from it right now.”
