I looked at Kyiv and the other big city. There are 4 lane roads, but I would not call them motorways. Between cities there is one 4 lane road but most are like this, 2 lane.

Another expert:
In the first 4 days, Russian tactical aviation, except for some Su-25s, largely sat on the sidelines. So have most combat helicopters. They have hundreds of both deployed in the area. Russia's air force is missing in action, and largely unused.
If Moscow does go through with a large-scale military operation, this deployment will not be short lived. It suggests Eastern MD will be understrength for quite some time and it shows a degree of Russian confidence in the relationship. 3/
At the core of the alignment is a functional non-aggression pact, which enables both countries to pursue their respective contests. The implications are significant. For those interested, in 2020 I summarized my views on this subject in a WOTR piece.

It's like surrendering with the French. Doesn't happen often but confirms the stereotype when it does.

Given that it is likely that Kyev will fall (sooner or later), and that the Ukrainian President will be killed or captured, it would be sensible for Ukraine to have sent elements of the government (e.g. the Vice-President and a selection of elected representatives) to Poland, to act as a government in exile when the time comes. Most countries would recognise it as the legitimate government, and very few would recognise whatever puppet quislings being propped up by Putin...

Not being able to buy a Mac - that's just brutal...American brands including Apple, Google, Ford and Harley-Davidson have stopped sales to Russia because of the invasion of Ukraine.
Apple said it had stopped sales of iPhones and other products in Russia, Alphabet's Google dropped Russian state publishers from its news, Ford told its Russian manufacturing partner it was suspending operations in the country, and Harley-Davidson suspended its business and shipments of its motorcycles.

Cruise missiles explained. They have some guidance, but a Russian missile hit an occupied building instead of an airfield.
None of it actually shows what the missile does with its wings and tail. What exactly moves? "inertial navigation system" tells the missile where it is, as well as GPS.

Historic that Russian missiles don't do guidance and compensate with blast radius.

Major cracks appearing in Vlad's armor. The FSB, the Russian Federal Security Service, warned the Ukrainians about an assassination plot against Zelensky.
