Project Veritas gets to depose the NY Times, about their smears.

Fresh off the press: The New York Supreme Court has sided with Project Veritas: Project Veritas will be permitted to depose The New York Times. And for the first time in history, you’ll be right there with us to witness it.

As you know, we sued the Times for claiming our Minnesota ballot harvesting video was “deceptive.” The New York Times attempted to dismiss the case and we won a historic victory when the New York Supreme Court denied the motion, ruling that the terms “deceptive” and “disinformation” apply to the New York Times’ reporters’ actions and claims. The Times appealed and then asked the Court to issue a stay that would effectively prohibit us from depositing the Times until the appeal is resolved - a process that could last up to three years.

The Court today issued a mic drop of an opinion: “Here, having failed to convince the Court that [Project Veritas’] case should be dismissed, [The New York Times] also failed to demonstrate the extraordinary justification required for the imposition of the drastic remedy of a stay pending appeal.” The Court noted that “despite the fact that [the New York Times has] been permitted to file anti-SLAPP motions to dismiss for decades, the [New York Times] here failed to cite any cases in which an unsuccessful moving was granted a stay pending appeal[.]”

Someone should leap up quickly, and smear PV again! Maybe tell the Acorn story, so that no-one risks listening to their other reports.

No matter how many smears there are against PV, this is the one that is undeniable.

Try researching the bullshit smears about Project Veritas.

Especially when they shone light on the story of selling dead baby parts.

It's almost like there was a media bias in that case...

I did enough to decide they're unreliable. If there's a topic I care about and they come up in a search for info I'll look elsewhere before relying on them. It's that simple.

Thankfully nothing I care about seems to rely on them or the mainstream media. I believe we're in agreement about that really.

I don't remember anything they did, which makes me think them unreliable. You might point something out (like Acorn) thinking I don't know it, but I do. Read both sides. Think they use sneaky means to expose stories, and those exposed usually try whatever means they can, to fight that exposure.

With this particular subject, the corporate media smearing them I mean, they are utterly reliable. All they have to be is a hated target, and the corporate media will show themselves to be the dishonest bastards that they are.

Since the news agency is getting deposed, it should show clearly that PV didn't misrepresent the story. I wonder if that story will be re-examined, or if it will still be ignored, because PV was the source...

The practical thing to do then if you're interested in showing their reporting is accurate, and that they've exposed something real, is just to find other sources and data to support what they are claiming.

In this case, where the 'case' is corporate media smearing them dishonestly, they are reliable.

Because their only required role is to be a target of a corporate media smear.

The practical thing to do then if you're interested in showing their reporting is accurate, and that they've exposed something real, is just to find other sources and data to support what they are claiming.

The story they conveyed speaks for itself.

The corporate media jumped in to smear them, this time by making specific claims.

Those claims are being brought into serious question, so going back to the story, it might deserve more attention this time.
