There is only a full scale Dollar Collapse or WW3 ???
Could be wrong but it seems either the global geo-political card ends in tears and bankruptcy for some major players, or a bar-room ballroom and even more tears. Anyone else see it this way or have their interpretation via metaphor ??

When will that happen? In two weeks? Two months? Two years? Two decades? Somewhere between 2050 and 2150?aufbahrung wrote: ↑Wed Jun 23, 2021 9:33 pmCould be wrong but it seems either the global geo-political card ends in tears and bankruptcy for some major players, or a bar-room ballroom and even more tears. Prophecies of an apocalypse that don't provide at least an approximate date are worthless.
In my view something dramatic will happen when the USA realises that China has become the sole economic and military global superpower and decides to fight back way too late. China has been busy getting all its ducks in a row for decades, spending huge amounts on developing its industrial domestic infrastructure, creating economic dependencies in Africa and Asia, building forward air bases on tiny islands in the South China Sea and constructing one aircraft carrier after another. Undoubtedly it is also working on making sophisticated military drones and missiles. Everything it does points to a long term plan for expansion. Once it decides that all systems are go, the rest of the world won't know what hit it. That will happen in 10 to 25 years from now.

That is about to become an important addition to China's biological armaments. Using the gain-of-function method General Fauci is weaponising it at the Wuhan Laboratory as we speak.

The USD$ is the reserve currency of the World. When there's economic trouble the worried wealthy flee into US dollars. USD$ are a safe bet because oil transactions are done in dollars. As long as they keep on pumping oil out of the ground people are going to need dollars to pay for it, and so the US economy sits buoyant on that ever-flowing river of oil. This is a massive incentive for the US to do as little as possible about oil's contribution to the ongoing climate and ecological emergency - which, if ignored, will probably lead to the dollar's collapse and WWIII anyway.

Tradition is not a great obstacle when confronted with harsh reality. When it has become clear to the wheeler-dealers that the US economy has become a husk of its former self they'll just write their contracts in ¥. They can even feel smugly woke about it. After all, the English translation of 'renminbi' is 'people's currency'.Brian Peacock wrote: ↑Thu Jun 24, 2021 1:41 amThe USD$ is the reserve currency of the World. Only after there's been a fight about it first

Of course. Nobody would expect the US to go down without one, but go down it will, and if the fight will include an actual shooting type war remains to be seen. I'd be sufficiently optimistic to put my money on MAD saving the day if I were not pushing up the daisies by showdown time.
