All Things Biden: Is It Over Yet?

Good of you to imply they are uncivilized, while avoiding the answer.
They probably think you uncivilized, too.

Re: All Things Biden: Is It Over Yet?
Compared to Biden he certainly is.

In 2016 Trump won 46.1% of the total of 136,669,276 votes cast. Clinton won 48.2%.
(Link)
In 2020 Trump won 46.9% of the total of 158,383,403 votes cast. Biden won 51.3%.

So, yes, he gained some votes, but Biden won 7,052,770 more than him.

For a lefty Canadian you seem somewhat over invested in the US MAGA identity.

He's obsessed with the US. I'm surprised he hasn't moved there for some freedum.

I think he should be investigated by the Committee for Un-Canadian Activities...

Re: All Things Biden: Is It Over Yet?
Well, I did ask 'how many' did he lose or gain, but answer with percentages, so you don't have to say he gained millions of supporters through his presidency.
It's almost like everyone who voted for him originally did so again, PLUS millions of new people were won over by his work. Despite constant media smears.
Easy to forget it though, with Harris/Biden being such a charismatic and captivating team.
Re: All Things Biden: Is It Over Yet?
Let's get down to the bottom line. He entered office with his party holding both houses of Congress, lost the House in 2018, and the Senate and White House in 2020. If he were so well thought of he'd be able to win his election and help his party members win theirs. Instead, his own party blamed him for the GOP losing the Georgia Senate races.
I pay attention to what counts, not the BS Trump's shills incessantly bray.Republicans lost both Senate races in Georgia on Tuesday, losing control of the Upper Chamber, and you don’t have to be Karl Rove to understand what happened.
If you want to win, don’t tell voters that their votes don’t matter. Don’t have a President tell his voters that the last election was stolen, that Georgia Republicans were complicit in the theft, that GOP Senate leaders don't care, and then expect those same voters to turn out in the Senate runoffs after a rally and a few tweets.
Donald Trump cost Republicans the Senate by making the two Georgia runoffs a referendum on himself. The races should have been a referendum on blocking Democrats from controlling all of Congress and the executive branch. But that message was obscured, if not obliterated, by Mr. Trump’s insistence on telling voters day after day that he was cheated in November—no matter the lack of credible evidence or plausible path to victory.
***
The Georgia election details prove this point. Turnout was down from November as expected in most places. But it was down more in Trump areas than in Democratic strongholds. The suburban voters who rejected Mr. Trump in November also didn’t return to support GOP incumbents Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue.
You're welcome to your opinion, but I keep in mind that my city councilwoman represents almost twice as many people as live in the NWT, so it might be a bit provincial.

Oh it is, also, you didn't say how many more people supported him at the end of his presidency, than at the beginning.
It's cute.

Re: All Things Biden: Is It Over Yet?
It's irrelevant.

To those who want to understand one side of the political divide, you are right. It's irrelevant.
If someone wants to acknowledge both sides, it looks like a significant figure. Like a relevant part of the population, who will be having preferences, and votes, in the future.

Getting back on topic, I found this image of a Harris/Biden supporter meeting.
Trigger Warning!!!1! :
Re: All Things Biden: Is It Over Yet?
No reason to think he is a Biden supporter, but he should certainly be adding a dental dam for intimate times.

Re: All Things Biden: Is It Over Yet?
I am right, it's irrelevant, as is your mealy mouthed attempt at an insult. As an American and a lifelong independent, I understand both sides of our politics better than you ever will. Conversely, and unlike you, I have the wisdom not to lecture you on Canadian politics.
I said nothing about Trump's influence, I said
BTW, I don't really need to say more. Hermit proved my point. You can't dispute the numbers. The majority of Americans think poorly of Trump.

Just because Trump has influence doesn't mean he's well thought of, and in any event, US politics is winner take all and he didn't win.

I enjoy going through the 'biden regret' hashtags while considering your thoughts.
Or considering Hermits view of Trump supporters, and how thoughtful, nuanced and intelligent it is.
Democratic governance is what caused the Floyd riots, and all you have to do to see it, is look at how pissed everyone is, after getting ALL the 'Democratic Party' justice they could have.
It's not Chauvin or Floyd that pissed them off, or they would be satisfied now. It's systemic somethingorother, in a system that is, at every level, Democratic Party governed.
Then the Democratic Corporate Media teams go ahead and call Republicans the racists.
Much sensible. So politics.

Re: All Things Biden: Is It Over Yet?
Nobody "forgot". Given that 21.7 million more people voted in 2020 than in 2016, comparing the raw numbers of votes Trump won in 2020 with the votes he won in 2016 is meaningless.Cunt wrote: ↑Fri May 28, 2021 2:15 pmWell, I did ask 'how many' did he lose or gain, but answer with percentages, so you don't have to say he gained millions of supporters through his presidency.

Impressive, how you "forgot" about your first question and my reply to it. I bet that was easy.
