That contest seems to value weirdness over musical ability...
Did Abba ever win it?

Looks like the UK is in a bad state, so, is it Mississippi or Alabama?
Lol both Mississippi and Alabama are serious contenders for our next home state, along with Tennessee and Georgia. But Georgia is turning too Blue for our tastes because of the cesspit of Atlanta so it's lowest on the list. North Carolina is out of the running completely, not only is the state tax situation fucking ridiculous but they're still partially locked down and you need a fucking PERMIT to own a hand gun. Fuck them sideways, ain't gettin' my money.

The northern Gulf Coast from Perry, Florida to the Louisiana line, Florabamasippi, is the Last Redoubt of true salt-water rednecks. I is one.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

What is he proven correct? It is pop music. You can't take that seriously, and since when did anybody worry about quality?

BTW Abba have earned far more than any other band in history. Benny and Björn are still writing. It is all not my cup of tea but they used their limited resources to maximise their income.

Louisiana is weird, so t'would be my state of choice, and I swear it has nothing to tdo with the French heritage, the cajun dialect has gone across the separation line so long ago I'm not sure Napoleon really thought he was selling off a bit of France.

Louisiana is hurricane central, it's really fucking hot and buggy, the state's laws are based on the Napoleonic Code, and you can barely understand the ordinary locals, let alone the Coonasses.

Sounds very much like Lincolnshire and Norfolk.

Information justices? THAT would have survived 2 whole centuries of being in Union with so many states of Anglo Law ?

The weirdness, to me, is that it is all about the visuals/special effects, done as OTT as possible, rather than the quality of the music.

When does pop music have quality? Just by its name it says it all.

Well, you did miss something, as soon as the Italian lead knew he had won, he took a dive for a line of coke, France magnanimously announced we wouldn't try to get the results annulled on that ground, and the talk on the news channels was only of that until somehow, it became proved that the video had been deceitful and ha had not stuffed his nose.
