Yes. So?
The one that keeps creating laws and regulations aimed at making it as hard as possible for blacks to cast their votes: The Republican party.
Or you can't see the racism of Islamists?
I don't know all the details, but try to not align myself with the side that kills gays for being gay. Or Jews for being Jewish.

You think the republicans support the racists in the Palestine v Isreal conflict, isn't that whwat you meant?

Re: Palestine v Israel.
So you think the Republicans are taking the side of the racists?
I think they generally take the side of Israel, does that mean you think Israel is the 'racist' group, between them and Palestine?
If I misunderstood, my apologies.
It looks like in P v I, there is a side that is clearly racist, and a side that is more like our modern, decent world.
It isn't the whole picture, but it IS odd to see people siding with the anti-homo, anti-diversity team.

Can you tell us how many Jews are living and working in the occupied territories, and then can you show us how they are being denied the ability to take part in the civil and political life of the occupied territories?

Re: Palestine v Israel.
Yes indeed. The Israeli governments have been racist from the word go, and in 2018 they made this unequivocally explicit when they added this to Israel's constitution:
1. The State of Israel
a) Israel is the historical homeland of the Jewish people in which the state of Israel was established.
b) The state of Israel is the nation-state of the Jewish people, in which it actualizes its natural, religious, and historical right for self-determination.
c) The actualization of the right of national self-determination in the state of Israel is unique to the Jewish people.

Ah, so racist, but not nearly as racist as their opponents in the region.
Tell me, did the Palestinian constitution say anything about Jews, Kafir or infidels?

Yes
There is no Palestinian nation, so there is no Palestinian constitution.
Furthermore, the US Democrat party does not support Palestinians. It has never sold US jets, missiles, rockets, tanks, small arms or any other military hardware to Palestinians when it was in government. It has sold all of that to Israel. Always.
This has not changed with Democrat control of both houses of Congress and Biden's presidency. On Wednesday Biden talked to Netanyahu on the phone yesterday. What did he say? He asked the Israeli Prime Minister to move 'toward the path to a ceasefire'. Anything else? Economic sanctions, maybe? A threat to stop supplying military hardware? A demand to stop expelling Palestinians from the West Bank the Israelis are in the process of annexing? Nup. Nothing.

Re: Palestine v Israel.
Yet again, you are assigning all the issues of Islamist behaviour (which is real enough, both in certain states like Saudi, and in avowedly fundamentalist Islamic groups) to Palestinians, the ones currently in a conflict with Israel. Palestinian authorities, as divided as they are, are largely secular in nature, and are motivated in a very different way to Islamist movements.Cunt wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 1:28 pmSo the racists (i.e. - the ones who don't let the Jews into their government, or allow synagogues) are supported by the Republicans?Hermit wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 7:35 amIndeed, they are, but they are not getting the high-tech ones the US is selling to the Israeli government. Things are so simple in your black-and-white world. Too simple.

Jewish Network for Palestine
Google employees call for company to support Palestinians and protect anti-Zionist speech.
A group of Jewish Google employees is calling on the company to increase its support of Palestinians amid Israel’s deadly bombing campaign in Gaza. [...] In an internal letter, Google workers ask CEO Sundar Pichai to put out a statement condemning the attacks, including “direct recognition of the harm done to Palestinians by Israeli military and gang violence.”

Re: Palestine v Israel.
Well, the answer to that question is indeed simple. It is vastly more expensive than any Palestinian group could afford (Israel is not only wealthy, but got direct assistance from the US to construct it). Also, the Iron Dome system is for shooting down simple unguided rockets, not artillery shells and warplanes...

Yes, it also wouldn't help.
It's not Israeli bombs that are generating the complaints, so much as their expansion in that area. Maybe their plain existence in that area.
