Whether its islam, christianity, global warming, paper bags, plastic bags, renewable energy, coronavirus restrictions, racism, or any other religious nuttery, if you want to know the quality of the nuttery, check how the adherents deal with apostasy. and apostates.

Especially if the adherents deny their religious nuttery is religious nuttery.
None of which has any bearing on your snide attacks on Fauci, which have been shown to be arrant nonsense.

We all know why you were having a go at Fauci - he had the temerity to disagree with Trump...

We're following his disagreement. You don't. We're also following your repeated sarcastic comments about Fauci's infallibility, which nobody but his detractors have ever claimed.

Infallible Fauci. Got it.

I treat him with sarcasm and derision because I find it instructive how his celebrity affects his adoring fans.

Of course, you might want to disagree vigorously, so as to let everyone know what happens to apostates, or those who would insult the sawed-off little profit.

He is not a celebrity, and we are not adoring fans.

He is a knowledgeable scientist, with expertise in the field of pandemics.

You are not. End of story.

You sure did. Four times today and another four times in the week leading up to it.

Says the adoring fan of a Youtube celebrity whose ambition to be known as a comedian has garnered a following of right wingers who get their information about election fraud from him.

I know, I know. I've watched the documentary about "what happens to apostates, or those who would insult the sawed-off little profit".

... From nearly 12m Oxford/AZ vaccinations up to 7 March, the UK “yellow card” system has recorded 61,000 reports detailing 228,000 reactions, around double the rate for the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine. There have been huge numbers of immediate side-effects such as pain, nausea, fatigue, headache and fever, with other notable reports including palpitations (1,318), “feeling jittery” (10), “screaming” (4), chilblains (10), alcohol poisoning (2), libido increased (1), libido decreased (1), and one remarkable report of a pregnancy following vaccination. But some have been serious events, including 289 deaths soon after the jab, and all of these will have been examined carefully...

So it's not really Fauci you have a problem with, it's the celebrity that came from his boss putting him in the limelight?

How do you know you wouldn't like the guy if you met him?

I don't know if I like him or not. He's handsome, charming and rich. I mean beyond the very high salary.

I'd run with him if he was up to it, and wait for him if he fell behind. (the team trail approach)

I shouldn't have said anything, I didn't realize he was such a revered religious figure.

I won't doubt the guy out loud again. And even if he is a manlet, I won't call him one.

Well, I think he'd take you up on the run as he does 3.5 miles most days. Apparently he had to cut down from 7 because COVID has kept him so busy. He's 80, so maybe he's slowed down a bit, but his personal best marathon is 3:37. My guess is he probably keeps a decent pace.

As for the salary, that's pretty standard for a doc with his credentials. I used to hike with a rich doc. He had a mansion in the foothills and a nationwide reputation in his field, but on the trail we were a couple of military brat southern boys who liked the woods and climbing mountains.

People are people after all.
