The Coronavirus Thread
Re: The Coronavirus Thread
He didn't use science though. He was asked for studies, and he told a scary story.
But Paul got all the answer Fauci was prepared to give.

Though some 3/4 of cases where coronavirus that jump from animal to man never get far, pandemics will occur and readyness will be poor:

Re: The Coronavirus Thread
Nonsense. Fauci doesn't say you must be afraid, he says be careful.Cunt wrote: ↑Sat Mar 20, 2021 3:54 pmThat's the answer Hermit quoted, after I asked.
That's the 'good answer' I guess. I would go check Fauci's answer, but I don't have to. His answer is always be afraid, be more cautious, be more careful.
You can turn the sound off, and make just as much sense of what he says. It's like listening to Pelosi talk about Trump lol
Without his common sense approach there would've been millions of dead Americans.

No, Paul asked him about studies. Fauci, offering stories instead, represented himself as well as the highest paid Federal employee should.
With stories.
Some people are too stupid to realize this. It's why he is known as 'Infallible Fauci'.

Re: The Coronavirus Thread
Paul was just grandstanding. Like it's such a problem to wear a tissue on your face until there are studies showing it's unnecessary. It's a good idea. It won't get anyone killed, but no masks might. Seems a pretty simple recommendation to make. It's a tissue, not shackles.
Re: The Coronavirus Thread
Best advice I've heard is to pick any 2:
wear a mask
maintain distance
be outside.
Good enough for me. Have to balance the filthy face-mask problem. (lots of 'pro-mask' types wear the same one everywhere)

Re: The Coronavirus Thread
I googled the expression "Infallible Fauci". Google returned 898 results. All the ones I looked at turned out to be used by people who insist that he is not infallible. So, yeah. Strawman.

Also, your inability to counter facts.

You should be careful about trusting 'thought-leaders'. They might turn out to be a bit...fallible.
Fauci has been wrong plenty. Like recently, when Paul asked him for evidence, and he responded with scary stories. It's really transparent, unless you think he is 'the science'. (he isn't, he is more 'the bureaucracy')

A browse of the best fact-checking, will show that you were right all along. No fact-check, even if the fact-check turns out to be biased, will ever change your mind. I think that's called confidence.
