One idiot can accomplish a lot:
A few rightwing 'super-spreaders' fueled bulk of election falsehoods, study says
Out of the 21 top offenders, 15 were verified Twitter accounts – which are particularly dangerous when it comes to election misinformation, the study said. The “repeat spreaders” responsible for the most widely spread misinformation included Eric Trump, Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr. and influencers like James O’Keefe, Tim Pool, Elijah Riot, and Sidney Powell. All 21 of the top accounts for misinformation leaned rightwing, the study showed.

Funny, I don't remember O'Keefe or Pool promoting misinformation.
Of course, whenever O'Keefe's name comes up, someone reliably points out his 'Acorn' story, but his election stuff has been uncontested as yet.
Except by screaming 'Orange Man Bad'. That still seems to work on the 'trust the science' group.

Well yeah, guys being stupid is a whole other category, goes across party line.
Stupid Democrats did not really yield much, mostly cultural items.

Cultural items lol
If you call that 'culture'. To me it looks like various flavours of hating the USA and it's majority, but ok, SOMEone's 'cultural items'.

Re: There are a whole bunch of really stupid people in America
I wasn't referring to whatever you are referring to.
I try not to insult any of the people in my senior classes. A few I've spotted as right wingers. None of those are stupid. They've lived long enough not to be conned.
But then I get bird feeder ladies and cat ladies. I gave a class a year ago on natural products. The course descriprion was very clear. I went through a catalog of things. I put up structures but no actual reactions. Well one or two. But my cat lady walked out of the class at the first break. She objected to me presenting natural products as molecules. If they are natural, they can't be chemical.
That kind of stupidity.

And I've done extensive research: all cat ladies are Democrats.

The latest fad is a poverty social. Every woman must wear calico,
and every man his old clothes. In addition each is fined 25 cents if
he or she does not have a patch on his or her clothing. If these
parties become a regular thing, says an exchange, won't there be
a good chance for newspaper men to shine?
The Silver State. 1894.
