Our member from Yellowknife did quote from the article. Sort of. More accurately, he quote-mined it to the extent of making it appear to mean the exact opposite of what it did say. I corrected him here, but he has taken to ignoring the correction. In fact, he has taken to ignoring my corrections ever since I corrected this clanger at Mindromp three weeks ago:

Huh? The 2016 election took place on the 8th of November. On the 9th of November Hillary Clinton made a speech. Here are a couple of excerpts from the start of it:

I have doubts that he genuinely read the article. It's not in podcast form, and it's rather long. It's entirely possible that he heard about it from his trusted sources (quote-mine and all) and attempted to parrot what he'd heard.

You may be right. I've lost count of how many faked news items our member from Yellowknife has paraded here, that turned out to be sourced from Parler, Gab or whatever other site right wing nut jobs hang out in. He does not even do the most rudimentary checking if the fabrication harmonises with his bias. Tim Dillon's "The CEO of Robinhood is Ghislane Maxwells son!" tweet was a classic. The majority of the people who saw it actually believed it to be true and spread it around as such. Our member from Yellowknife was among those who swallowed it hook, line and sinker.

There were people indicted, along their way to impeach Turnip. They tried everything, constantly and with ALL the investigators, both good and corrupt, trying hard, they didn't indict him on anything.

That speaks very well for the old guy. I doubt the current Pres could withstand the same kind of scrutiny. Especially if those around him have connections to foreign money...

Some russian collusion conspiracy theorists keep waiting for 'IT' to happen...they are still trying to remove the guy, even weeks after he left office. You can't really treat them as rational.

But ANY time now, Turnip will be arrested with Putin, and then the Amazon/Alphabet/Apple good guys will have won.
